Katie McManus, LPC
Ms. Katie McManus is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults on a variety of concerns, particularly issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. She is experienced working with people with relationship issues, as well as parents and those dealing with postpartum mood concerns. Katie has specialized training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Grief and Trauma Intervention (GTI), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She also has experience using CBT to help people with tinnitus. Katie is on the Medica and United insurance panels and is pleased to accept these insurance plans.
Katie received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Michigan University in 2014 and since that time has worked in inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings where she provided evidence-based therapy to a wide variety of people. She takes a culturally-informed approach to therapy and has experience delivering care to individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as those from the LGBTQIA community. Katie utilizes a client-centered approach to care and will collaborate with you on your treatment goals and needs.
